Atlanta, Georgia – Leading medical waste management company Medasend Biomedical announced a 3-year deal to become the medical waste disposal service provider for Job Corps, a vocational training program administered by the U.S. Department of Labor and funded by Congress.
The contract will see Medasend service Job Corps in Atlanta, Georgia and provide disposal of common medical wastes such as sharps and red bag waste.
Medasend will also provide Job Corps with a “Complete Compliance” portal system, which allows Job Corps employees to take online training programs. This proprietary portal technology provides companies with an easy, cost-effective method of staying compliant with federal regulations. The Complete Compliance system includes programs like annual bloodborne pathogens training, fire extinguisher training, spill response training, HIPAA training and more.
